Our kitchen sink has been leaking the past few months. Very annoying. Well tonight, finally, it became a priority. We picked up a new garbage disposal from Home Depot earlier this afternoon, and Lloyd installed it early evening. It took several hours and lots of PATIENCE, and several episodes of me INADVERTANTLY running water down the disarmed sink. Hey, I was busy noticing COLOR as I was washing/gluing several fused glass pieces: “My, my, that’s a strange view down the kitchen sink!! It’s wierd to be seeing drain pipes and the color of wood floor!!” OOPS!! I cleaned it up myself, feeling TOTALLY responsible! Finally, the garbage disposal is installed, minus a part from the Hardware store that cannot be purchased until tomorrow. We have to remember now, to NOT use it for gobbling up old coffee grounds tomoroow AM, as we make FRESH AM coffee! So about mid-AM tomorrow, we will be able to feed coffee grounds and other good stuff to the kitchen sink. Or better yet, we will add it to our new compose pile in the backyard. But just in case we need a garbage disposal, it is now available!

Oh, don’t bother seeing “Smart People”, although in all it’s stupidity, it did end up triggering an epiphany sort of moment for me:)
