Got it! I think he got caught at 1:43AM. That’s when the sratching, banging, thumping, clawing noises suddenly escalated. Things didn’t settle down until 4:12. So it’s been quite a “morning”. I’m wide awake to start the day. Lucky Lloyd was overnight in Minneapolis, so hopefully he was able to sleep in peace. Coffee is just brewing, so I went outside to take a look. There was a cute little racoon looking down at me. He looks so sad and peaceful this AM. Sorta breaks my heart to disrupt his life like this. Poor thing won’t know where he is later today. He’s lived long enough at our place though. Sure hope there isnt another one. When we know they’re gone for sure, we’ll saitise the chimney stack, and close off the racoon entrance. Looking forward to a good night’s sleep again.
