hello from Vivienne

Hey, all you kwaakies. Vivienne says hello to you all. We saw her on Saturday evening this weekend in Minneapolis (your Dad had class Friday evening and all day Saturday) , along with her husband, Peter, and her three kids, Andrew (8), Michelle (6) and Isaiah (2). They are a busy, happy family, living their lives near Minneapolis, MN. Vivienne is an MSW social worker, working in the field of adults with disabilities, and Peter is a software architect at Moneygram. Their kids are delightful. We can just snap our fingers and be back in Sioux Center, when Vivienne was a social work student at Dordt (she was one of Lloyd’s students, and one of my international students when I was international student’s coordianator at Dordtnull). She, and many of the other 30 international students spent many hours at our place, when you kids were little. So it was fun to see Vivienne being the Mom. We enjoyed her kids, reading stories to them, and observing their high energy levels. We can hardly believe that our family used to look like, operate like that! Wow. Time flies.
