The grill is just heating and we are sitting here in the pit room, getting ready to share some supper together. We are gonna make a nice ceasar salad to go with some grilled meat, and can hardly wait. MMmmmmmm. We’ve had a great weekend home. Lots of reading and catching up and some socializing. The weekend highlight is a book that we both read over the past two days. Neither of us could stop reading this book and it really hit home for us. It is called VELVET ELVIS and is written by Rob Bell, pastor of Mars Hill church in GR. What he had to say really resonated with us. Besides, the cover design is really cool, as is the layout and design of the book itself. Looks like something Reuben would do. Anyways, we have been talking together about this book alot, and it’s been some exciting conversation. This afternoon, we went to the Mars Hill website to listen to a recent sermon by pastor Bell, entitled, “Being sexy on the inside”. It was a great sermon, and really encouraged us. We are planning to listen again to another sermon sometime. If you get a chance to brouse through Velvet Elvis sometime, it would be a great read. Gotta make the salad now………….

hey, I actual own that book. I ordered it on Amazon.com when it came out this summer. I haven’t even looked inside yet. This definatly sparks curiosity….I look forward to reading it…sooner than later. I want to know how to be sexy…on the inside that is. Maybe I’ll check out that sermon
Hey thats so wierd because the other night Katie invited me to go to church but last minute she couldnt go so I didnt go either.. But later we were talking about what the sermon was about that we had missed and she said we shouldve gone because it was about being sexy on the inside. Wierd..I should’ve gone..
