Well, we were home this weekend. How unusual. Lloyd worked on a paper all evening Friday, and then all day Saturday and most of today. He is trying to set up a research project about the CEO-board chair partnership, and how it might affect board effectiveness. As of about 4PM today, he has a rough draft, and will be able to spend Monday and also Wednesday evenings perfecting, before he e-mails it to his prof. He can see the end of the tunnel now, so that’s good. While he was working on the computer, I did some reading and some dreaming. I’m reading The World is Flat”, by Thomas Friedman, and am dreaming about color palates for our living room. Our couch and love seat have retired, due to 7 shades of fading and shape/form wear-out. Our first real living-rrom furniture set, after 28 years of marriage, has finally worn out. So yesterday, we got our new coffee-bean colored couch and love seat. It looks great in the living room and just needs a few new paint strokes to compliment. We are just back now, from supper with Virg and Dorothy Dykstra, at Jason’s Deli. It was great HEALTTHY food! We really enjoyed. Will hope to see you all soon. Nick, we will see you sooner tha later, like next weekend.
