So where did they go? They were prepared with lots of TLC the week before Christmas. Half of them went to the Dec. 23rd Dudley Dinner. Michael himself ate approximately 2/3 of this half. The OTHER half were headed for Grand Rapids (we thought???) last weekend, for use with the annual Lloyd’s birthday Salmon grill. They were put into a tupperware container (not GladWare, like most of our baked goods these days), single layer, so the cherries wouldn’t get squished. For some very odd reason, they never showed up in Grand Rapids. The entire Murano was unloaded at 1230 Lake Dr. SE, on Dec 30th, but no cherry tarts surfaced (at least that we know of). Upon return to Des Moines, and careful hunting through all of our cupboards, fridge and freezer (kitchen and garage) they have not been found. If you know anything about these missing cherry tarts, please let us know. We’re guessing that in about 6 months or so, we will have an unexpected moldy discovery of the tarts in some obscure location in the house. You know how easy it is, right? I mean, to throw gargage into the toilet inadverntly, or to put the tape in the fridge, or to put the milk in the cupboard. We all do it. Age has nothing to do with it.

Age has nothing to do with it huh? I may disagree… you guys are both almost 50 now and I think that may lead to forgetfulness and loss of brain cells. I don’t think I could ever misplace something like cherry tarts.
I wish the cherry tarts would appear in my freezer…mmmmm
